Story Behind the Song:
During my trip to Egypt in 1991, I traveled to the Sinai Peninsula, but stopped short of St. Catherine's monastery where Moses is believed to have received the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai.
Then recently in 2011, I returned to the Sinai based on a vision of my coming empowerment in the media and climbed Mt. Sinai with Josephine, my new fiancee, and fellow pilgrims from Britain and France.

The Road to St. Catherine's
Preliminary chorus:
The road to St. Catherine's is barren and dry,
Though I met her there once in the sky,
The road to St. Catherine's winds through the earth,
As I walk it though I wonder why,
I've begged and I've pleaded you'd open the door,
On the road to St. Catherine's inside,
But then on the road I found silver and gold,
As I conquered my fear and my pride,
On the road to St. Catherine's... |
